First wedding shower gift

My dear friends Jana and Sage are having a wedding shower for me next weekend. I'm excited, it means the wedding festivities are really starting.

A few weeks ago, I got my very first shower gift from a friend who can't make it. Since Joie lives in Oregon, she probably won't see me use the beautiful Audrey bowl from Crate & Barrel she so kindly sent.

So here it is! Last week I made pasta amatriciana. So yummy with tart tomatoes and salty bacon. Anyways this was part of my inspiration for this site; finding a way to say thanks (again) and share the fun. Thanks Joie!
